Libre.gr – Modern news site with a point of view

The Libre.gr is an independent news platform that records and analyzes Greek and international current affairs with an emphasis on commentary, documentation and freedom of opinion.

We took over website design and implementation, using WordPress as a base, with the aim of creating a dynamic, reliable and functionally sound digital medium.

The key features of the implementation include:

• Clean and reader-friendly design, aiming for ease of navigation and highlighting of content.

• Structured view of thematic modules such as Politics, Society, Economy, International, Culture, etc.

• High loading and response speed, thanks to the use of a cache plugin (WP Fastest Cache) and object caching with Redis.

• Easy-to-use backend environment, adapted to the needs of a journalistic team with many editors.

• Social media publishing automation, using the X API and additional tools.

• Ability to display advertising content, with respect for the user experience.
